Talisker Storm – Tasting Notes

White pepper, creamy, banana, smoke, salty sea, blackberry, black current, vanilla sweetness, apple, lemon, heather honey, fruit and some dark chocolate. Mixed with this all some green herbs and ‘heather like’ feel to it. Making it almost a bit BBQ/meaty…. But not heavy, just light in the background. Sweet and smoky is on top.

Smoke, pepper, fruit, honey, creamy, chocolate, blackberry current jam, a salt and oil bread platter, orange, bit marmalade also in the back…

Sweet and spice combined with some floral/herbal notes. Very warming and balanced. The smoke is not too much in front, but you get the idea of a ‘storm’ indeed. It is a swirl of different flavours.

Medium length, combination of spices, pepper and marmalade with a bit of salt combine on the finish

7,5 out of 10, a nice full, balanced, and accessible dram.
