Glen Scotia – Victoriana – Tasting Notes

In the #GlenScotia Twitter Tasting we were treated to the expression called Victoriana. Matured in Bourbon barrels then finished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks & deep charred oak casks. Bottled at 51,5%.

Strong smell of ripe galia melon wrapped in salty ham. Spices, apple, tangerines, hints of cookiedough and mocca. Honey, fresh, sweet, fruity, plums and rich fruit cakes.

Sweet, spice, fruit, hint of dryness of cocoa and cinnamon. Green apple, melon, lemon, orange, tangerines, mint, hint of liquerish, and salty ham.

Medium length finish, sweet, honey, vanilla and raisin.

Scoring this one an 7 out of 10. Sweet dram and feels balanced
