Door 21 in the Drinks by the Dram Cognac Advent Calendar reveals a sample of Bisquit VS Cognac bottled at 40%. The House of Bisquit Cognacs was founded in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit. If you are interested in reading more on the history of them then please visit this link or have a browse through their website for more information.

On the nose I find soft sweet fruity notes mixed with elder flower syrup, hint of gooseberry, vanilla and cassis. On the palate this even is bigger and sweeter. Notes of oranges, mint, liquorish, red apple, caramel, vanilla creme, powdered sugar, toffee, raisins, dried cranberries, pomelo, honey, banana, pear juice, red current, strawberry, light note of dark chocolate and canned peaches. Sweet and honey sticky feeling on the medium length finish of this lovely cognac. Thanks for sharing a sample Drinks by the Dram!
